Can anyone please help me make sigs?

I'd love to learn how to make sigs. So can anyone please explain how to make signatures?

First either download Photoshop trial or GIMP. Have a look around for some brushes and stuff first, they're very good for beginners. If you're using Photoshop, I could dig up Ace's old tutorial for you to try out, it's pretty simple. If GIMP, search around on Google.

Here's some tips that I use:
When brushing, don't overdo it. Remember, pros don't usually brush, if at all. They prefer freestyle.
If you are brushing, never get another background. Always create you own by brushing white against a black background, it will look much better.
When doing freestyle, don't just paste the render onto the background and be done with it. Duplicate the background and render around a few times, set them on different effects to see the results, such as Gaussian Blur or Distort. Then set the duplicates, if possible, all at different layer effects, such as lighten for one, then darken, linear dodge, etc. Have a play around with smudging as well, I realised it's actually very effective.
Lastly, here's a something I do for almost all of my current sigs. Duplicate the render one more time and set it larger than normal, but good enough to still be distinguished. Put that on Overlay, or lighten, or anything you like as long as it looks good. Try and put that layer behind the main render.
Don't forget to add a render as well. To do this, flatten all the layers so they're merged. Then use rectangular select and select an area, but so a line on the top and bottom are left out. Then invert the selection, and brush over it with pure black or white. This creates an outside border. Look at my current sig to see what I mean. Then, add some text and you've made your first sig!
Note: Remember, don't go looking for some very difficult tutorials yet. Always start out with simple ones.

My idea is to watch a video on how to make sigs on youtube or something but I doubt there'll actually be a video about that...

Lee, try out YouTube. It helped me a lot. There are people telling you where/how to get brushes/fonts and all, there also are some nice tutorials on making sigs. Good luck man

I'm thinking to do it on you-tube while I have my window's minimized and while I have the PhotoShop thing on so I could paint while it shows.

That would be quite hard cause you might not be able to see what it's doing properly
