| Ok, the rules are simple. No scamming, swearing/offensive languages and no advertising. If any of these are seen, report them to me immediately and I shall either temporarly bam the member or delete them. Also, if you want to lock a topic, just p.m me with a request to lock it. Thats all for now. | |

| No report button, but just private message me with a request to delete/lock the topic and I will. | |

| Just an option, you can probably copy and paste the RSB Forum Rules, then twitch it up a little. | |

| Taking a tip from Godlfs and Blackmetal, here are the new rules:
RUF Rules
Registration These rules apply to you when you are registering an account at RUF, before registering you should have a thorough understanding of these rules.
The details which you provide RUF with at registration must be true and kept up to date if changed.

Your user name must not be a user name which is intended to be offensive.
Posting and Interaction These rules apply to the interactivity of RUF. This includes but is not limited to creating posts, creating topics, sending private messages, etc.
When posting a reply to a topic, your post must be relevant to the original post in the topic as well as each reply. It is expected that you read the whole topic before replying.
When posting a topic, posting a reply to a topic or sending a private message, your post must be respectful of all users and all people. You may not post discriminative content or content that could be considered as racist, sexist, abusive, obscene, slanderous, hateful, threatening, inappropriate or offensive.
When posting a topic, posting a reply to a topic or sending a private message, your post must be written by you or you must use quotes if you are quoting somebody else or another source.
When posting a topic, posting a reply to a topic or sending a private message, if you are quoting content from anywhere you must be certain that the content you are quoting will not be in violation of copyright laws.
When posting a topic, posting a reply to a topic or sending a private message, you are not allowed to directly ask or indirectly suggest that another user gives you Runescape Gold Pieces, or any other item in exchange for nothing.
You may not spam the forums in anyway. This includes, but is not limited to, spamming through posting a topic, spamming through posting a reply to a topic, spamming through sending a private message and abusing the report post feature.
You may not post the same topic or reply a topic any more than once. This means you may not repetitively post advertisements for anything, post the same reply to a topic once (please see deleting messages).
You may not post topics that encourage users to reply with one factual reply as opposed to an opinion or argument to your original post. The exception to this is in such forums where you are allowed to ask for help and the topic is able to be locked once the answer to your question has been answered. This rule applies to, but is not limited to such topics with the title, or similar title, "What's your favorite color?", "What did you eat for dinner last night?", "What song are you listening to right now?".
When posting a topic, posting a reply to a topic or sending a private message, your post may not encourage chain letters, pyramid schemes, click referrals or contain advertisements for another site.
You may not post content which may violate applicable laws, doing so will result in further action being taken on your account and possible notification to your Internet service provider.
You may not post or submit content anywhere which encourages the violation of Runescapes' "Rules of Conduct" or is directly related to such violations.
Signatures, Avatars and Personal Information These rules apply to signatures, avatars and personal information which is able to modified through a users profile.
Personal information which is made public (such as location, instant messenger details, and more) must be true and must be your details.
Signatures may contain up to two images: a "main image" and an "under image". You may opt to use two lines of text in your signature instead of an "under image", however you may not have both two lines of text and an "under image". You may also choose to have no images in your signature, in which case you may have up to four lines of text in your signature.
If you choose to have a "main image" in your signature, the image must not exceed 300 x 100 (width, height) pixels in dimensions or alternatively must not exceed 500 x 60 (width, height) pixels in dimensions.
If you choose to have a "main image" in your signature, the image may not exceed 40 kilobytes in file size.
If you choose to have a "main image" which is animated in your signature, the animation must not be distracting from the actual content of your post or distracting from any area on a webpage.
If you choose to have an "under image" in your signature, the image may not exceed 300 x 20 (width, height) pixels in dimensions.
If you choose to have two lines of text and a "main image" in your signature, your two lines of text must not exceed 30 words.
If you choose to have four lines of text and no images in your signature, your four lines of text must not exceed 60 words.
Your avatar may be an image which is no larger than 20 kilobytes in file size and no large than 100 x 100 (width, height) pixels in dimensions.
Neither your avatar, signature or personal information may contain explicit, obscene, vulgar or otherwise offensive imagery or material.
Scamming This section is a quick but firm note on scamming. Scamming of any sort is forbidden.
You may not attempt to scam players in any way through any forms of interaction which Runescape Boards provides. This includes attempting to: gain members' passwords for Runescape, RUF, E-Mail services or anything else; unfairly gain Runescape items from members.
Attempting to gain someone else's password is illegal. It will result in your RUF account being banned and possible further action being taken to notify your Internet Service Provider.
Failue To Obey These Rules This is a quick section on the consequences that may be applied if a user fails to obey by these rules.
If RUF staff believe you are breaking the rules, they will take appropriate action to correct the situation so that rules are not being broken. This may include a user being warned via private messaging, a user having their account banned and in severe cases a user may have their IP address banned.
You must accept that the matter of whether a user is breaking the rules is to the discretion of RUF staff. If you are unsure of any of the rules you should ask a moderator, administrator or create a topic in an appropriate forum addressing your concern.
