I need help on braces...

Today I just got my braces, they are red, and are ichy.:SThe orthodonist said that I Should 'cut' the wax (they gave me some wax to put on my 'braces', it's like a little gray box with 5 long stripes of wax) They say I should put it on the little square of the braces. But I Don't know how to cut it. I mean...I get this little brush that comes with the packet...and It doesn't even cut it. My teeth hurt when I try to eat something soft... Has anyone else experienced this? If so how do I cut it? And how long does it last? Does it last for about 4 days? Any help will be appriciated. Smile

Lee,don't worry, it always hurts when you first get braces. I can't help you anymore then that cause I don't have braces.

My friend has braces. In fact, lots of my friends have braces. They say it hurts like hell the first night, a little the second and third, then you'll probably get used to them.

Today in the morning at like 6:00 AM i woke up with a H U G E headage...omg...it hurt like H E L L. Pplz please don't get Braces. Especially you Katie and Amy since you people are younge. Just thought I'd let you know how it feels. When I tried to chew lays or something I had to take it to little pecies like an old man. And when I tried to chew winnie with Taco I had to put it to the back of my mouth and chew it where my teeth didn't have braces.:s
